These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which Precision Repointing and Rendering quotes for and carries out work.

Quotations and prices
Every job is priced individually after we have seen the property. Prices are given in writing and are fixed for the scope described in the quotation, together with a payment schedule spread across the project. No prices are published on this website.
Where work outside the quoted scope becomes necessary, for example hidden substrate failure discovered once render or old pointing is removed, we will tell you before proceeding and agree any additional cost with you in writing.
Carrying out the work
Access, including scaffolding or tower access where required, is arranged by us and included in the quoted price unless the quotation states otherwise. External work depends on weather, and we may reschedule where conditions would compromise the quality or durability of the finish.
We ask for reasonable access to the property, to water and to power where needed, and for vehicles and belongings to be moved clear of the working area before we start.
Guarantee and insurance
Our work carries a 10-year workmanship guarantee, provided in writing with the job. We hold £2 million public liability insurance. Where a manufacturer system such as K Rend is installed, it is installed as an approved installer to that manufacturer's specification.
The guarantee covers our workmanship. It does not extend to damage caused by factors outside our control, such as structural movement, storm damage, work carried out by others, or failure to maintain rainwater goods and other details that protect the wall.
Work we do not take on
We do not carry out work on listed buildings. We work on period and conservation-area properties, and we will tell you honestly if a property falls outside what we take on.
Cancellation and complaints
If you need to cancel or postpone agreed work, please tell us as early as possible so we can rearrange the programme and any access booked for your job. Your statutory cancellation rights as a consumer are unaffected by these terms.
